Resolved Question: How can you get internet connection in the country?

My boyfriend has a house built out in a area that isn't really country but about 5 minutes from a town called Marlin which is about 15 minutes away from Waco,TX and I'm planning on buying him a new laptop and i was wondering since their is no wireless connection out there what are other ways to get a connection instead of going out and paying a monthly fee for a adapter at a cellphone company.
